About Us

Myrtle Metal started with my son Ashton and me spending time together on the beach, chasing signals and simply enjoying the thrill of discovery. Our weekend adventures quickly turned into a fun YouTube channel, where we began sharing real moments, exciting finds, and a more playful side of metal detecting.

As our enthusiasm for detecting grew, so did our desire to help others experience this great hobby for themselves. Whether we’re guiding couples on a unique shoreline date or helping someone finally learn how to use the detector they’ve owned for years, our goals are always the same — create memories, build confidence, share the joy of discovery, and help keep our beautiful beaches safe and clean.
